The purpose of Outreach Ministries is three-fold:
- To develop mission awareness in the congregation through all forms of communication;
- To provide limited assistance through money, goods and services to several local agencies on an annual basis;
- To reach out beyond our church walls to the immediate and extended community, in an effort to assist our brothers and sisters in need.
Vision Statement
The vision is to provide ministry with a holistic approach that seeks to minister to the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of individuals in our congregation and surrounding/extended community just as Christ our example did.
Matthew 28:18-20 NIV 18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Mission Statement
Our Mission as given by Jesus in Matthew 25:31-46: to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit the sick, care for the needy, widows, and orphans, and to provide ministry and care unto even the least of these.
“Matthew 20:19 Jesus said to his disciples “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”
