This message is based on the biblical story of David facing Goliath. What David experience in the natural real of life facing Goliath, as children of Almighty God, we face in the spiritual real of life, when we are confronted by situations that appear to be bigger than we are. We can learn from David facing Goliath, (1) David was able to face Goliath because of his faith in God, (2) David was able to face Goliath because of his past experience with God-when he killed the lion and the bear to protect the sheep, (3) David was victorious because he was not afraid to face Goliath. We must have a right relationship with God by having faith in God, we must be able to draw from previous experiences with God. Lastly, we must have the courage to face our giants (difficult situations) in life knowing that God can empower us through the Holy Spirit to defeat difficult situations that appear to be bigger than we are.
